Marcos M is a senior software engineer from Santa Catarina, Brazil, with nine years of hands-on experience and a Bachelor's in Information Systems. He specializes in back-end and full-stack development, recently focusing on customer onboarding, KYC, and regulatory compliance at Warren where he migrated monoliths to microservices, built event-driven systems with Kafka, and used AWS Lambda and Terraform for notifications and IaC. At Warren he also improved monitoring (CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK), integrated S3 and partner APIs, and designed a referral system—demonstrating both product-minded engineering and operational ownership. Previously he led client-facing development and security-conscious delivery at Box TI, adopting Laravel, NestJS and Vue.js and coordinating Kanban workflows. He keeps studying modern architectures and design patterns to deliver robust, scalable software and brings a practical blend of DevOps, backend systems and customer-focused product experience.

Web application attacks are one of the main points of attack against web servers. With the increase in exchange of information through the web, attackers find new ways to compromise the security of the web and their users. HTTP is an application layer stateless protocol that is widely used for communication between web browsers and we servers. Attackers often inject malicious codes into the parameters of the HTTP requests to execute their attacks against web servers. An automated approach for detecting web application attacks will be proposed. By using the concept of Long Short-Term Memory, HTTP request packets will be inspected and analyzed for anomaly detection.
