Senior🎓
Top SchoolMarcos Pacheco is a Senior Software Developer with over a decade of experience crafting full-stack web and mobile products, currently building at Wealthsimple after senior roles at DoorDash and Oakam. He blends pixel-perfect front-end craftsmanship (React, Vue, Angular) with robust back-end API design (Node, .NET) and cloud deployments on AWS and Azure, routinely shipping high-scale systems like an in-house notification platform delivering ~300M emails/month. Marcos has led engineering teams, defined technical standards, and launched data-driven features—such as an Open Banking flow that raised loan approvals by 40% and a menu-translation experiment that increased conversions by 10%. He’s pragmatic about using the right tool for the job, mentors engineers, and has published npm/NuGet packages and CI pipelines in his spare time. Based in Toronto with international English training, he brings a generalist’s adaptability and specialist attention to building end-to-end solutions that deliver measurable business value.
