Senior🎓
Top SchoolMarcos Rodrigues is a data and systems specialist with 16 years of experience turning business problems into production-grade technology solutions, currently leading the Fast layer and real-time data initiatives at Banco Safra. He combines a Computer Science degree from UFOP and a Data Engineering & Big Data specialization from USP with hands-on expertise in Spark, Flink, Kafka, CI/CD for streaming, and DaaS productization. Marcos has repeatedly led cross-functional teams—ranging from 5 to 10 engineers across backend, data, frontend and QA—to migrate legacy Big Data platforms to cloud environments and deliver dashboards and APIs that inform commercial decisions. Earlier roles show full-stack and systems roots (Java, Node/TypeScript, Scala, Hadoop ecosystem), giving him both breadth and depth in enterprise data landscapes. Outside corporate work he has a record of student leadership at national scale, having presided over Brazil’s National Executive of Computing Students and coordinated national congresses, reflecting strong stakeholder and event leadership not obvious from technical titles alone.
