Top SchoolMarcos Sánchez-dehesa is a Senior Software Engineer based in Berlin with 11 years of experience building high-impact products across Apple platforms, IoT, and real-time systems. At Raycast he leads search infrastructure, the Script Engine and Extension UX while driving a large codebase migration to Swift async/await, blending deep systems work with polished developer tooling. His background bridges hands-on engineering (firmware, mobile SDKs, MQTT/CoAP, Metal) and product leadership—he’s run product teams, shaped roadmaps, and advised C-level stakeholders at IoT firms. As a former quantitative researcher he built real-time trading infrastructure and Metal-based financial visualizations, demonstrating strong algorithmic and performance-focused instincts. An active contributor to Raycast’s popular script-commands, he improves UX and cross-platform integrations, showing a knack for small, high-leverage developer-facing features. He combines telecommunication engineering foundations with a rare mix of low-level protocol experience and product-first thinking.
