Marcos Timm is a product-focused senior software engineer based in the Netherlands with two decades of hands-on experience and a decade in higher-responsibility roles building scalable web and financial systems. He blends startup grit—co-founding Interwise and founding MyClinic Space—with enterprise delivery, having led teams that migrated thousands of loans to Mambu and designed reconciliation and onboarding flows at BridgeFund. Technically versatile, Marcos has shipped backend services in PHP, Node.js and Python, mobile features in Objective-C/Swift, and infrastructure with Terraform, and has driven cross-functional product work and AI-assisted risk automation. Comfortable toggling between coding and leadership, he has repeatedly translated complex business processes into reliable APIs and customer journeys. An unusual thread through his career is sustained work across payments, e-commerce storefronts and fintech migrations, showing a knack for integrating legacy systems into modern architectures.
