Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolMarcus Schiesser is a pragmatic software engineer with 14 years of experience delivering production-ready systems across Java, Python, and TypeScript, and a strong track record in cloud-native architectures on AWS and Azure. He combines hands-on implementation—Kubernetes, IaC with Terraform/Pulumi, CI/CD—and end-to-end ownership from product requirements to operations, making him effective on integration-heavy and modernization projects. As a former CTO and founder who built and led engineering teams in Taipei, he brings both strategic product judgment and people leadership to technical delivery. Recently he was a core maintainer of the TypeScript LlamaIndex implementation, contributing to production-grade agent and RAG workflows and open-source developer tooling. He also teaches backend development and event-driven design, which complements his knack for translating business goals into reliable software quickly. Available for remote-first DACH freelance engagements in senior backend, fullstack, cloud modernization, and AI-enabled platform engineering.
