SeniorMarcus Wilhelmsson is a security-focused technology leader with 13 years of experience building and hardening cloud-native infrastructure across multi-product, multi-cloud environments. Currently Director of Information Security Engineering and Architecture at Sinch, he blends strategic oversight with hands-on technical delivery—driving CSPM/CWP, incident response, and ISO/TISAX/HIPAA compliance for global messaging platforms. His background spans public cloud transformation, DevOps automation, and identity/MFA implementations, and he’s moved large workloads from VMware to AWS while embedding security into product lifecycles. Comfortable working with legal, procurement, and agile teams, he also brings a practical educator’s mindset from years lecturing on Linux and systems, which he leverages to raise security awareness and operational maturity. Based in Kalmar, Sweden, Marcus is known for turning complex security requirements into scalable, auditable controls that keep fast-moving engineering organizations compliant and resilient.
