Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolMarek Piątek is a hands-on cloud architect, founder and CEO with 11 years of experience building and scaling cloud-native platforms across AWS, GCP and Azure. He leads Barecloud to deliver secure, production-ready cloud foundations—combining platform engineering, Kubernetes and security-by-design for regulated industries like finance, real estate and healthcare. Previously he drove cloud strategy and CoE initiatives at DNB and Heimstaden Group, translating enterprise resilience into startup velocity. Marek pairs deep technical craft (IaC, Kubernetes, multi-region architectures) with investor and founder instincts to shape product-first platforms. Based in Oslo, he consistently favors long-term operability without unnecessary complexity—a pragmatic stance forged by migrating mission-critical workloads and running 24/7 production teams. An early ERP and backend developer by training, he brings uncommon breadth from ERP and DevOps to modern cloud-native systems.
