Top SchoolMaria Neumayer is a Staff Software Engineer with 13+ years specialising in mobile engineering, particularly Android, and a track record of driving platform-wide change across startups and scale-ups. She’s led major migrations (React Native to native, Java to Kotlin), introduced Compose and SwiftUI, and built design systems and standardised feature architectures that improved delivery and reduced CI costs. At Deliveroo and Skyscanner she halved build times, automated releases, and scaled cross-team collaboration through engineering communities and production standards. A committed mentor and tech leader, she helps developers get promoted and coaches leaders to scale organisations. She’s an active speaker in the Android community and brings a user-focused sensibility from early UI/animation wins through to large product rewrites. Based in the UK with a formal background in Mobile Computing, she combines deep hands-on platform expertise with a talent for organisational change.
