Top SchoolMaria Petrunina is a Staff Engineer with 14 years of experience building reliable backend systems and leading cross-functional initiatives that improve customer experience and monetization. Based in Boston, she has driven major pricing model migrations, rolled out usage-based billing and AI monetization, and led adoption of analytics and experimentation platforms at Help Scout. Comfortable in both hands-on engineering and tech leadership, she previously led overnightprints.com and introduced agile, automated testing, and REST APIs at Opensoft. Maria combines a product mindset with deep technical grounding from a Master's in Mathematics and Computer Science, which helps her turn ambiguous problems into practical solutions. She routinely partners with billing and product stakeholders to align systems and workflows, and she has hands-on experience shipping a company’s first AI-powered features. An uncommon strength is her track record of translating pricing and data signals into engineering priorities that directly impact revenue and user experience.
