Top SchoolMaria Young is a Web Accessibility Specialist and Frontend Drupal developer with nine years of experience helping organisations make digital content usable for everyone. Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA), she pairs practical frontend skills with accessibility expertise to deliver inclusive, standards-driven websites at Agile Collective. Based in the Greater Edinburgh Area, Maria brings a creative background in visual communications and photography to user-centred design and clear information architecture. An open-source and accessibility enthusiast, she mentors and shares knowledge across communities and projects, often focusing on pragmatic, testable solutions rather than abstract guidelines. Outside work she cultivates hands-on projects—she describes herself as a grower, sharer, feeder—which hints at a collaborative, care-driven approach to both craft and community.
