Top SchoolMariana Franco is a Senior Software Development Engineer based in Vancouver with 14+ years building large-scale, reliable web and cloud services across AWS and enterprise platforms. She has led design and implementation efforts for core AWS products including Route 53, RDS and Prometheus, launching customer-facing consoles and backend automation that improved deployment safety and reduced on-call load. Comfortable across backend services, CI/CD, and operational leadership, she mentors engineers and has repeatedly helped stand up new teams and services from scratch. Her background spans languages and stacks from J2EE and Ruby on Rails to Node.js and cloud-native AWS tooling, informed by engineering degrees from Universidade de São Paulo and Mines Saint-Étienne. A pragmatic systems thinker, she pairs production-first engineering with a history of building testing and deployment infrastructure that scales globally.
