Top SchoolMariano Goldman is a Sr. Staff Software Engineer based in Buenos Aires with over two decades of OOP experience in Java and 11 years of professional engineering practice, recently focused on Node.js/TypeScript and PHP/Laravel backends. He designs and implements distributed systems ranging from REST APIs and pub/sub backends to data scrapers and blockchain integrations (Ethereum, Polygon, Bitcoin, Cardano), often bridging traditional services with decentralized networks. Mariano has driven platform- and SDK-level work at organizations like Decentraland and ARK Ecosystem, including full implementations for Cardano ADA and Bitcoin handling. He combines deep backend craftsmanship—Spring Boot, TDD, CI/CD, Docker, AWS—with a track record of improving team practices and delivery, from introducing unit testing to architecting CI pipelines. As a teaching assistant in computer science, he also mentors the next generation on algorithms, data structures and software engineering methodologies, which informs his pragmatic approach to complex systems. Colleagues describe him as a rapid learner who prefers solving systemic integration problems rather than being a pure blockchain coder.
