Senior🎓
Top SchoolMariano Korman is a senior full-stack engineer and tech lead with 11+ years of experience building cloud-native web applications and backend services across C/C++, Java, C#, and increasingly Ruby. He has led small cross-functional teams, shaped technical roadmaps, and driven feature design and delivery for high-volume platforms such as SoftwareOne’s marketplace and Checkatrade’s critical homeowner-tradesperson flows. Comfortable both writing specs and shipping code, Mariano combines hands-on development with code review, estimation, and mentoring responsibilities. A remote-first professional based between the UK and Spain since 2015, he leverages distributed work to boost creativity and balance while collaborating across timezones. Notable for his transition from low-level systems to modern microservices (Docker, GCP Cloud Run) and for treating human dynamics—communication, expectations, team performance—as the core challenge of software delivery.
