Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolMariano Salerno is a Senior Automation QE with 11 years of experience building and scaling QA practices across growth-focused web teams. He has led QA strategy at Toptal—driving Web Vitals improvements, migrating test suites (Puppeteer → Playwright, Enzyme → RTL), and introducing CI checks like Lighthouse-ci—to materially boost SEO and site performance. Mariano mentors engineers, defines testing processes from scratch, and has hands-on experience across e2e, integration, visual regression and API contract testing. He’s implemented tooling and dashboards (Grafana for flaky tests, Node.js APIs for test orchestration and results) and coordinated cross-team QA roadmaps that reduced regressions on public pages. Now at Groupon, he continues to blend technical execution with process leadership, bringing practical experience in migrations, performance metrics, and seed-data initiatives for reliable e2e coverage. Fluent in Ruby, JavaScript, Java and testing ecosystems, he’s as comfortable shipping code as he is shaping testing culture.
