Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolMarin Bek is a founder and CEO with 11 years of experience building AI-driven, industrial-grade software that helps factories cut energy and resource waste without new machinery. He combines a formal background in control engineering with Silicon Valley startup experience—leading teams that designed scalable real-time analytics and big-data pipelines for Fortune 500 customers. Ascalia, his current company, translates machine learning into actionable insights for production managers, drawing on prior roles as CTO and system architect where he built multi-continent, real-time personalization and processing infrastructure. Marin’s early work in autonomous underwater vehicles and embedded systems gives him uncommon depth in both hardware-constrained and cloud-scale engineering. Based in Croatia, he mentors university spin-offs and brings a pragmatic founder’s eye to commercialising advanced tech for industrial impact.
