Senior🎓
Top SchoolMario H is a Senior Back End Software Engineer with over a decade building secure, scalable payment and fraud-detection systems across LATAM. He combines deep hands-on expertise in PHP, Java/Spring Boot, Node.js and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS) with rigorous application of SOLID and clean architecture principles. Mario led the integration of 12 payment processors that lifted payment acceptance by 25% and deployed an ML-driven fraud model that cut fraud by 8%, all while ensuring PCI DSS compliance. He’s comfortable both as a technical leader—having led Linio’s payments and checkout teams—and as a pragmatic developer who migrates legacy PHP systems to modern Symfony and cloud-native designs. Based in Antofagasta, Chile, he pairs two master’s degrees in software engineering with a track record of multidisciplinary projects (from rail monitoring to accessibility tools), revealing a talent for applying enterprise-grade practices to diverse, real-world problems. Colleagues describe him as a team-focused mentor who balances security and innovation to deliver measurable business outcomes.
