Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolMario Simão is a software engineer with eight years of experience building high-impact, scalable systems across research and fintech domains, currently at ClassPass in Rio de Janeiro. He has delivered mission-critical platforms at Inoa that processed millions of transactions and integrated directly with Brazil’s payment rails, cutting settlement times from hours to minutes. At CERN he partnered with large, multinational teams to design backoffice tools that shrank annual planning from months to weeks and standardized architectures (DDD, event-driven, hexagonal) to accelerate delivery. A curious, self-taught collaborator, Mario thrives in complex, regulated environments and leads projects end-to-end—from requirements and architecture to production support. He combines an electronics and computer engineering background with hands-on experience in integrations and performance-sensitive systems, making him comfortable at the intersection of infrastructure, reliability and business impact. An uncommon strength is his track record of translating scientific-scale collaboration practices into production-grade engineering for commercial financial systems.
