Senior🎓
Top SchoolMark Ettema is a front-end-focused engineering leader with over a decade of experience building design systems and production web applications across startups, large agencies, and major corporates. Currently shaping NN’s multi-environment design system and helping a 1,200-member Engineering Guild become more effective, he combines hands-on engineering (React, Vue, React Native, TypeScript) with architecture work—ADRs, CSP, monorepos and cloud deployments. He began in graphic design and entrepreneurship, founded a full-service internet agency, and brings rare cross-discipline fluency in design, back-end, and cloud infrastructure. A pragmatic problem-solver, he prioritizes understanding the user and business impact before choosing technologies and enjoys learning new tools when they become part of the solution. Ambitious to continue on the tech track as a staff+ engineer, he’s quietly building the breadth to tackle increasingly complex product and system challenges—one day at a FAANG-level organization.
