Top SchoolMark Gandolfo is a seasoned technology and solutions architect based in Melbourne with over 30 years in IT and 17 years focused on senior solution and cloud architecture roles. Currently a Senior Advisory Solution Architect at IBM/Red Hat, he has deep expertise in middleware, cloud IaaS/PaaS, and large-scale transformation programs across utilities, telecommunications and government. He has repeatedly bridged technical delivery and business outcomes—leading middleware governance at Telstra, driving Oracle Utilities and WebSphere implementations, and architecting cloud platforms and managed services. Known for translating complex legacy landscapes into pragmatic, operational models, he also brings hands-on experience with operational intelligence and Splunk implementations. Colleagues rely on his pragmatic blend of broad systems knowledge and pragmatic delivery focus to de-risk large programs and accelerate cloud-native adoption. Outside role titles, his career shows a rare continuity of technical leadership from database and middleware roots through to modern cloud-native architectures.
