Summary
Mark Gregory is a VFX supervisor, co-founder and senior character animator with nearly two decades of experience bringing photo-real creatures and animated heroes to screen across commercials, episodic TV and feature film. He has led end-to-end 3D pipelines—covering rigging, animation, lighting, FX and compositing—on high-profile projects such as The Lion King, Pokémon Detective Pikachu and the creature-heavy 47 Meters Down. Based in Stony Stratford, he combines hands-on Maya expertise with supervisory craft, scaling teams of 15–22 artists to deliver complex sequences under tight schedules. His background spans previz to final comp work, and he’s equally comfortable setting character performance standards as he is solving pipeline bottlenecks. A practical compositor as well as an animator, he brings a rare blend of artistic direction and technical pipeline mastery that keeps shots both believable and efficient.
