Top SchoolMark Johnson is a Senior Platform Engineer with 25+ years of software engineering and distributed systems experience, now focused on building cloud-native platforms across Azure and AWS. He designs and operates Kubernetes-based multi-cloud platforms (AKS/EKS) using GitOps, IaC (Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi, Crossplane) and modern DevSecOps practices to improve developer experience and security posture. Mark has driven platform adoption at scale—introducing Dapr for cloud‑agnostic connectivity, self‑hosting Argo CD and Grafana, and shaping ISO 27001 controls as part of ISMS teams. He mentors engineers, runs brown‑bag sessions and maintains open‑source projects while experimenting with Go, Python and C#, demonstrating a hands‑on blend of architecture and implementation. Based in Bournemouth, he combines deep legacy and cloud-era expertise to turn complex architectures into practical, observable, and secure developer platforms.
