Top SchoolMark Jones is an Agentic AI Consultant and seasoned technical architect with 12 years of experience designing choreographed microservice architectures and leading cloud-native transformations. He blends hands-on engineering in C#, Node.js and Go with deep DevOps expertise—having built private clouds, Kubernetes clusters, GitOps pipelines and extensive GCP/Terraform serverless stacks. As a founder and CTO he launched an AI-driven cycling coach app integrating Google Gemini, Garmin and HealthKit, showing his ability to move from idea to product while scaling a talented team. His career spans high-impact roles modernising legacy monoliths into event-driven microservices for clients like Microlise, VMD and British Airways, and he regularly authors service chassis and platform patterns to reduce coupling and speed delivery. Based in Ashfield, UK, he combines pragmatic engineering with ISO/IEEE-aligned documentation and an inventive DIY mentality—evident in a Raspberry Pi Kubernetes testbed that underpins his consultancy work.
