Summary

Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolMark Jose is a hands-on technology leader with over 25 years of engineering experience, currently leading consulting and technical solutions functions while steering large-scale cloud and trading system transformations. He blends deep architecture and delivery expertise across Investment Banking, Energy Trading and Gaming, having served as chief engineer, CTO, and co-founder in both startups and enterprise settings. Mark is a pragmatic strategist who has driven entire technical landscapes, overseen cloud migrations, and contributed to industry standards through his involvement in the FDC3 working group at FINOS. He is equally comfortable in the weeds of system design and in mentoring teams to adopt better engineering practices and delivery models. Based in Seghill, UK, he brings rare continuity of leadership from early-stage ventures to regulated financial firms, often taking responsibility for the complete technical estate. Outside formal roles he repeatedly returns to hands-on engineering and company-building, signalling a bias for execution as well as strategy.
