Top SchoolMark Koopman is a Senior Software Engineer with 13+ years shaping the web analytics industry, from early WebSideStory work through Omniture to maintaining Adobe's HBX platform. He specializes in server-side Java stacks (JBoss, Tomcat, Oracle/MySQL) and pragmatic Perl/PSGI tooling, while also shipping client-side HTML/JS/CSS and Adobe AIR integrations to reuse web code for desktop apps. Known for profiling and simplifying tangled systems, he turns “dangerous to touch” codebases into maintainable, testable platforms and has hands-on SCM experience building Java and C/C++ releases with Ant and Autotools. Based in San Diego, he blends deep implementation focus with operational troubleshooting for live systems, and quietly favors Plack/PSGI/Starman when performance and correctness matter.
