Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolMark Lakewood is a seasoned software engineer and architect with 14 years of experience designing cloud-native infrastructure and delivering complex data and platform projects across thousands of engineers. Based in Perth, he has led multi-team transformations at Twilio—driving a multi-account AWS strategy, turning ops teams into software delivery engines, and unlocking thousands of hours of developer productivity through secure, scalable platform services. He combines hands-on implementation (Kubernetes, EC2, observability and testing) with technical strategy and infrastructure delivery, and now applies that expertise at SwitchDin. Known for empowering and teaching teams, his superpower is coaching while still diving into code and tooling to solve thorny problems. An early career background spanning mainframes to startup MVPs and even film post-production gives him a pragmatic, systems-level perspective that surfaces non-obvious operational risks and opportunities.
