Top SchoolMark Mzyk is a Senior DevOps Manager with 14 years of experience building and leading SRE/DevOps teams for cloud-native storage and data services, currently directing operations for HPE GreenLake’s Data Services Cloud Console. He blends hands-on engineering roots in Erlang, Ruby, Python and cloud migrations with a people-first management style that prioritizes mentoring, measurable growth, and predictable delivery through Kanban and Scrum. Mark has a track record of scaling systems (e.g., Chef Automate from 10k to 50k clients), improving incident response and post-incident learning, and driving cost-conscious vendor and operational decisions. He excels at converting customer needs into small vertical slices for rapid validation and uses dashboards, WIP limits, and feature flags to enable continuous delivery and experimentation. Based in Raleigh, NC, he pairs technical depth with organizational systems thinking to create environments where individuals and teams can level up and deliver business outcomes.
