Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolMarkus Gruber is a Vienna-based technology and product leader with nine years in senior roles and two decades of hands-on IT experience spanning Microsoft, large enterprise services, and his current venture ExplicIT Consulting. He excels at bridging strategy and execution—translating C-level digital transformation goals into governed, multi-cloud services and product portfolios with measurable SLAs and cost controls. At IT-Services der Sozialversicherung he shaped cloud brokerage, lifecycle management and customer-facing product teams; at Microsoft he advised enterprises on governance, business cases and healthcare digitalization. As Managing Director he now combines advisory, open-source product support and portfolio auditing to help organizations operationalize strategy. Known for pragmatic architecture and strong stakeholder orchestration, he blends technical depth in Microsoft ecosystems with commercial rigor from management training. An understated detail: he maintains a public presence linking consultancy, tooling (@Set-OutlookSignatures) and advisory work, signaling a bias toward practical, reusable outcomes.
