Top SchoolMarkus Härnvi is an experienced software consultant and entrepreneur with over 20 years in IT, currently running marvi.io from Uppsala and open to remote opportunities. He blends hands-on full-stack development with IT security expertise, having architected products from a web form builder sold to CGI to a real-estate pricing app and early log-aggregation platforms prior to mainstream SIEM tools. Markus has led teams, helped establish an offshore development operation in Sri Lanka, and repeatedly shipped pragmatic solutions for clients ranging from small businesses to government agencies. Comfortable moving between technical implementation and strategic architecture, he favors practical, resourceful engineering—evident from early hacks that opened access to national cadastral data. Outside of work he brings a wide-ranging curiosity and a generalist mindset inspired by Heinlein’s credo that specialization is for insects.
