Senior🎓
Top SchoolMarkus Heldrup is a Senior DevOps Engineer based in Oslo with seven years of experience building highly available, secure cloud and on-premises platforms. He combines hands-on engineering—designing hybrid, globally redundant Kubernetes platforms and automating complex deployments—with product-minded leadership, having driven DevOps roadmaps and cross-organizational adoption of DevSecOps practices at Rystad Energy and Teleplan Globe. Markus has a track record of shrinking deployment and install times dramatically (from days to minutes), implementing secrets management at scale, and codifying Kubernetes and CI/CD best practices through Helm, Ansible, and automation. Beyond enterprise work he co-founded a game-bot startup and builds web and mobile hobby projects in JS/Godot/React Native, demonstrating a restless focus on practical systems and user-facing features. With a background in biochemistry and formal web development training, he brings a multidisciplinary perspective that helps bridge technical implementation, security, and product needs.
