Top SchoolMarkus Ingemarsson is a Senior Software Engineer with nine years of experience, currently building payment processing systems at Klarna and recently promoted within the company. He is passionate about functional and reactive programming as well as distributed systems, and has practical experience spanning backend services, web front-ends, and embedded systems from roles at Klarna, Univid, and KTH. His academic work includes a self-supervised learning thesis exploring data augmentations for latent features, and he’s supported university courses in OOP and RISC-V embedded programming. Comfortable across the stack, Markus brings a pragmatic engineering mindset shaped by hands-on roles from startup internships to operational positions at Tesla and warehouse systems administration. He also injects a bit of humor into his toolchain preferences—“I LOVE DEPENDENCIES!!!! *not*”—which hints at a careful, dependency-conscious approach to building reliable systems.
