Senior🎓
Top SchoolMarkus Lautenbach is a freelance software engineer based in Berlin with a decade of experience building high-quality web applications and frontend-first user experiences. He has led and contributed to frontend teams at companies like Tenera, Contentful, Klarna and Flexcavo, and repeatedly modernized legacy projects to React/Redux and modern JS stacks. Currently he’s developing a browser-native WebRTC video conferencing solution and experimenting with both cloud LLM services and locally run open-source models to accelerate development workflows. Comfortable bridging design, product and engineering, he often fills gaps—whether stepping into product management or shipping cross-platform integrations. Markus combines pragmatic engineering with a user-centered focus, and his background founding a small tooling company shows an entrepreneurial streak alongside deep hands-on frontend craft.
