Top SchoolMarlin Jayasekera is an R&D engineer and entrepreneur with nine years of experience building production-grade systems that blend AI, orchestration, and edge engineering. Based in Montreal, he’s led full-stack development from founding startups to heading engineering teams, creating platforms that range from AI-optimized e-commerce content pipelines to observability and workflow engines for persistent agent fleets. His recent work includes a custom Android distribution for running persistent AI characters on dedicated hardware and an orchestration layer that coordinates long-running autonomous agents with context handoffs and cost analytics. Marlin combines hands-on systems design with product instincts—he’s repeatedly turned complex research and scraping pipelines into scalable, automated services that surface measurable business value. Notably, his work anticipates operational realities of AI at scale, treating agent fleets like first-class DevOps concerns rather than research toys.
