Top SchoolMarlon Dutra is a principal production engineer with over a decade at Meta and more than 30 years of industry experience driving very large-scale, security-sensitive infrastructure. Based in Menlo Park, he leads Privacy Infrastructure efforts and has been the most senior PE in multiple security orgs, tech-leading authentication, authorization, PKI and key management projects that serve thousands of engineers and ingest global production traffic. He built and operated layer-4 load balancing and global traffic systems early in his Meta tenure and now owns internal Root CA processes using offline and online HSMs. Prior to Meta he co-founded and scaled two Brazilian tech companies, growing nationwide networking, security and VoIP operations from the ground up. Comfortable moving between hands-on systems work and cross-continental leadership, he blends deep cryptography and PKI know-how with operational pragmatism. Colleagues rely on him to reduce risk across sprawling infrastructures while keeping compliance and real-world reliability at the forefront.
