Summary
🤩
RockstarMartin Adamek is a seasoned software engineer and founder with 15 years of professional experience who now runs Stuart Garage, a classic Porsche restoration and service workshop in Slovakia. He blends deep engineering leadership—former Director of Engineering at Avast and co-founder/CEO of Inloop—with hands-on product work, recently building internal apps in Ruby on Rails to streamline his workshop operations. His early career on Java EE, NetBeans and Java-related tooling at Sun Microsystems and long involvement in the Czech/Slovak Android community reflect a comfort with both large-scale enterprise systems and developer tools. Martin’s background spans desktop and server applications for scientific customers, mobile app releases, and leading engineering teams, showing versatility across stacks and domains. An interesting twist: he turned a personal hobby for vintage Porsches into a company while keeping coding as a practical creative outlet. Based in Slovakia with a master’s in software engineering, he brings entrepreneurial practicality and a craftsman’s attention to detail to technical and mechanical projects alike.
