Top SchoolMartin Bbaale is a Senior Software Engineer based in Kampala with a decade of engineering experience and 5+ years of commercial software delivery across telecommunications, IoT and public health tech. Currently leading core development at AirQo, he combines hands-on engineering with product-facing responsibilities—translating client needs into scalable systems and guiding engineering teams. His background spans embedded systems, Android and VAS implementations to cloud-backed solutions, and includes mentoring 37+ engineers at Andela and designing pan-African accelerator programs for IoT innovators. With an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon and early work in spectrum analysis and embedded projects, he brings both rigorous academic training and pragmatic field experience.
