Top SchoolMartin Hermosilla is a Lead Software Engineer with over a decade of experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade web and cloud solutions across financial services, healthcare, retail and high-tech. He blends deep Unix and multi-language backend expertise (Java, Python, Ruby, C, Perl) with modern web stacks and CI/CD automation, recently contributing to Fannie Mae’s Cloud Center of Excellence and reusable pipelines for mortgage solutions. Comfortable as a hands-on engineer, consultant and former CTO, he has built mobile and web products from freelance apps like Sismos.cl to large JEE and .NET/Azure systems, and practices test-driven and behavior-driven development. His background in distributed computing, job scheduling and XML/WS interoperability complements strong database experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server), enabling reliable integrations at scale. Notably, he combines legacy Unix/EDA roots with current cloud-native practices, making him effective at modernizing older systems into automated, cloud-ready platforms.
