Martin Magnusson is a cardiologist-scientist and professor at Lund University with a medical degree and PhD focused on heart disease in early type 2 diabetes. He has led clinical and research teams at Skåne University Hospital since 2006, serving as Senior Consultant in Heart Failure and Valvular Disease and heading the Knowledge Centre Heart–Diabetes.
