Senior🎓
Top SchoolMartín Ruskov is a Big Data Engineer with 11 years of multidisciplinary experience spanning research, education and production software across Europe. He blends strong academic credentials (PhD, extensive university teaching and EU research projects) with hands-on engineering in payments, process mining and edtech, shipping integrations and data pipelines using Python, Java, Docker and cloud tooling. Martín has led technical modernization efforts and driven quality improvements—from CI/nightly builds to automated QA—while also designing tools for cultural analytics and crowdsourced humanities research. He’s comfortable translating domain expertise into semi-automated workflows (e.g., lemma validation for medieval texts) and building usable products that improve user engagement and learning outcomes. Based in Milan, he combines a deep curiosity about how people interact with technology with practical experience delivering scalable, auditable systems for both public research and commercial platforms.
