Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolMarty Hernandez Avedon is a technical writer based in New York City with a decade of experience translating complex cloud, security, and Kubernetes topics into clear end-user and developer documentation. She has supported enterprise and open-source projects at organizations including SUSE, Domino Data Lab, and Microsoft, producing installation guides, threat intelligence reports, and Rancher documentation. Comfortable working directly in GitHub and Markdown, Marty also patrols repos for issues, reviews PRs, and has helped shape style and documentation processes. Her background in software development (Pursuit fellowship) and hands-on contributions to open-source projects—such as adding Swift sample programs and FizzBuzz logic to the well-known TheRenegadeCoder/sample-programs repo—give her an uncommon blend of coding literacy and editorial rigor. Colleagues rely on her to modernize legacy docs, correct code samples, and bridge the gap between engineering and nontechnical users.
