Top SchoolMary Chaffin is a Senior Front End Engineer with a decade of experience crafting polished, user-focused interfaces for enterprise cloud and data products. She currently builds front-end experiences for the AWS Data Transfer Terminal and has driven UX and React-based implementations at Intuit, SparkCognition, MAANA, and Microsoft. Mary blends design sensitivity with strong engineering discipline—mentoring teams, evaluating state-management approaches, and introducing consistency through refactors and component-driven UIs. Her toolkit centers on React, Material UI, MobX, GraphQL, and modern testing with Cypress, enabling her to deliver complex, data-rich applications that are still delightful to use. A musician by training and a Basenji fancier by hobby, she brings a creative, human-centered perspective to technically demanding problems. Based in Renton, Washington, she thrives at the intersection of design, writing, and code.
