Summary
👤
SeniorMary Warrington is a senior design technology leader with 10 years of experience building and scaling design systems and frontend tooling, currently managing Design Technology at Smartsheet. She specializes in React and TypeScript and brings deep practical knowledge of PHP, Twig, Drupal, and CMS integrations from roles at Nike, Basalt, and agency work. Mary has a strong track record improving developer experience—refactoring monoliths into monorepos, implementing package publishing workflows, and supporting cross-team adoption of shared components. Based in Portland, she pairs technical rigor with creative instincts honed as the founder of The Kitchen Paper, a food blog and cookbook project that grew to over 700k monthly pageviews. That blend of product-focused engineering and content entrepreneurship gives her a unique perspective on design systems that serve both developers and end users.
