Senior🎓
Top SchoolMason Wang is a founder and Stanford computer science student with eight years of hands-on experience building AI-driven products and research projects. He co-founded Tilde and previously co-founded Hazel (backed by Pear VC and others), blending startup execution with deep technical roots in NLP and multimodal ML. As a researcher at Stanford and UC Santa Barbara he worked with leading faculty on NLP, LLMs, and learning with noisy labels, and uniquely presented to Stanford’s NLP group while still in high school. Based in Palo Alto, he moves fluidly between research and product, shipping prototypes informed by academic rigor and early-stage fundraising experience. Mason’s profile reflects a pattern of launching teams around applied AI problems and engaging directly in both code and research mentorship.
