Top SchoolMasrul Huda is an HPC R&D Engineer with eight years of experience building cloud-first systems that accelerate scientific engineering workflows. With a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering (minor in CSE) from Mississippi State University, he blends deep domain knowledge with hands-on expertise in MPI, OpenMP, CUDA, and multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI. At Rescale he automated software artifact lifecycles, custom OS image creation, and multi-region/CSP distribution—cutting turnaround from ~16 hours to ~7 hours—and built a one-click containerization platform to modernize legacy scientific stacks. He designs Terraform-based benchmarking frameworks and integrates industry-standard HPC benchmarks to quantify cross-cloud performance, while using GitOps (Argo CD, Tekton) to keep complex deployments reproducible. Comfortable moving between research and production, he also authors internal catalogs and tooling (Django) to improve resource discovery and developer productivity. An uncommon strength is his ability to translate chemical engineering research rigor into practical, scalable infrastructure and performance tuning for heterogeneous cloud environments.
