Massimiliano Fantuzzi is a DevSecOps engineer with 11+ years of hands-on experience designing and operating highly available, security-focused infrastructure across banking, telco, aviation, satellite and government environments. An early contributor to DNS-over-HTTPS and author of DNSProxy, he combines deep protocol-level expertise (TCP, DNS, kernel tuning) with practical skills in Linux, reverse/forward proxies, databases and clustering. He routinely leads resilient production deployments and POCs, hardening RHEL estates, tuning performance across DB/storage/OS/network stacks, and improving WAF/ModSecurity defenses. Comfortable in incident, change and vulnerability management, he pairs an OWASP-minded security posture with pragmatic automation (Git, Puppet, CI) and thorough documentation. Known for systematic troubleshooting—often using custom dissectors, tshark/wireshark and low-level traces—he excels at turning complex, heterogeneous systems into reliable services. Outside work he’s a radio amateur with a long-standing passion for DNS and proxy technologies, which informs his practical open-source contributions.

DNSProxy listens for incoming DNS requests, parses and encapsulates such queries into HTTP requests towards DoH resolvers as per RFC-8484. Upon valid response from DoH HTTP service DNSProxy will craft and send RFC-1035 compliant DNS responses back to calling client. DNSProxy protects you from privacy leaks, with option to store raw response packets
