Top SchoolMat Dupont is a Senior Software Engineer and engineering leader with over a decade of hands-on experience building front-end architectures, accessible web products, and cloud-native microservices across startups and scaleups. He has driven high-impact initiatives—from cutting bundle sizes by 83% and lifting test coverage from 0% to 40%, to leading ADA compliance that averted multimillion-dollar risk—while mentoring senior engineers and shaping product quality. Comfortable turning ambiguity into clear plans, Mat blends pragmatic AI-assisted workflows, design-system thinking, and strong UX collaboration to ship polished practitioner- and patient-facing experiences. His background in mining software and long history of sole-developer projects give him uncommon empathy for stakeholders and an ability to own end-to-end delivery. Based in Ottawa, he pairs a developer-first curiosity with a reputation for dependable execution and scalable front-end craftsmanship.
