Top SchoolMat Walker is a Senior Product Manager with 17 years’ experience helping public and non-profit organisations turn data-driven insight and Lean practice into elegant, user-focused digital products. Currently at Ministry of Justice Digital & Technology, he has a strong track record from Cancer Research UK where he led multiple complex product areas—site search, CMS, events and core sites—introducing technologies like ElasticSearch and React and migrating high-profile event platforms. He excels at aligning large stakeholder groups, establishing release rhythms that deliver consistent value, and guiding teams through lifecycle-stage challenges. Mat’s background in theatre and media informs a user-centred storytelling approach to product strategy, and a period as a full-time parent underscores his practical empathy and resilience in balancing priorities.
