Senior🎓
Top SchoolMatanya Loewenthal is a software engineer with nine years of experience building high-performance, production-grade systems for AI inference and large-scale cloud services. Currently on Groq’s Cloud team, he designed and shipped GroqAPI and GroqChat, driving Tokens-as-a-Service and LLM inference in hybrid environments. Previously at Twilio SendGrid he reduced alerting noise by over 95% through Kubernetes operators and observability work, and he founded a gig-economy startup exploring decentralized labor models. Matanya pairs deep distributed-systems expertise with strong communication and operational rigor, and he’s equally at home prototyping products or teaching teams to run them reliably. Outside of work he’s an avid thru-hiker and maker who builds backpacking gear and even home data centers, a mix that informs his pragmatic, resource-aware approach to engineering.
