Top SchoolMateus De Carvalho Coelho is an Analytics Specialist with over a decade of experience in data science applied to the financial sector, currently driving analytics at Itaú BBA. He combines strong statistical modeling (classification, regression, clustering) and Python tooling with AWS-certified production deployment skills, moving models and dashboards from on-prem to cloud at scale. His work spans credit decisioning, recovery, fraud detection, KYC/AML modeling and transaction-market-share inference, often translating technical models into dashboards and prospecting engines for business stakeholders. Known for curiosity and cross-team collaboration, he pairs hands-on ETL and data engineering with dashboarding in Power BI and Streamlit to close the loop from insight to action. An interesting thread through his career is repeated application of graph and network techniques to expose atypical events and client groupings that traditional models miss.
