Top SchoolMateus Medeiros is a Tech Lead with 8 years of experience building backend systems, leading squads, and modernizing legacy platforms across fintech and enterprise contexts from Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. He has driven critical banking features—SPI (PIX), SPB (TED), Dict (PIX keys/QR)—and led migrations to newer language versions, emphasizing clean code, high-quality reviews and DevOps practices on GCP and containerized infrastructure. Comfortable across the stack, Mateus has implemented payment integrations, treasury and backoffice modules, and moved teams to Kubernetes-driven deployments while coaching developers and converting product requirements into clear technical specifications. An entrepreneur at heart, he founded a consulting shop early in his career, sharpening client-facing skills that complement his technical leadership and enable smoother stakeholder collaboration. Fun fact: when not architecting resilient systems he’s “probably coding now,” reflecting a hands-on leader who still ships code.
